Acceptable Use Policy
The rules everyone using Converx — customers, businesses, and their teams — must follow, including the standards for reviews.
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-07
1. Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Converx website, customer portal, booking pages, or business workspace, and forms part of the Customer Terms of Use and the Business Terms of Service.
2. You must not
- break any law or help anyone else do so, or use the Services for fraud;
- access another person's account, another business's data, or any part of the Services you are not permitted to use;
- request, guess, or relay verification codes for a phone number or email address that is not yours;
- make false bookings, book for someone else without their knowledge, or repeatedly book without attending;
- harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone, or publish hateful, obscene, or defamatory content;
- impersonate a person or business, or misrepresent your connection to one;
- upload malware, or probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Services;
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services, or copy business listings in bulk;
- avoid or work around limits, rate limits, or security controls;
- copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Services, except where the law expressly allows it.
3. Additional rules for businesses
- Record only the customer information you need, and never national identity numbers, payment card data, or bank credentials.
- Keep health-adjacent notes factual and limited to what is needed for safe service.
- Take before-and-after photos only with the customer's consent, and use them in marketing only with separate consent.
- Send marketing messages only to customers who have consented, and honour every opt-out.
- Publish accurate prices, services, team profiles, and photos you have the right to use.
- Give each team member their own login and only the access they need.
4. Review standards
- Reviews must describe a real visit, written by the customer who received the service.
- No paid, incentivized, exchanged, or self-written reviews, and no reviews of a competitor.
- No personal information about staff or other customers, such as phone numbers or addresses.
- No hate speech, threats, sexual content, or content unrelated to the visit.
- Businesses must not pressure customers to change or remove a review.
Converx decides reports against these standards and may remove a review that breaks them. A report alone does not hide or remove a review.
5. Reporting security issues
If you find a security vulnerability, report it to security@converx.net and give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it. Do not access data that is not yours, degrade the Services, or keep data you came across. We will not take action against good-faith research that follows these rules.
6. Enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or close accounts that break this policy, in proportion to the harm. Where reasonable, we will explain why and allow you to respond. Report misuse to support@converx.net.
