Customer Terms of Use
The agreement between you and Converx when you book with a business, create a customer account, link with a business, or write a review.
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-07
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Converx Company Limited ("Converx"). By booking through Converx, creating a customer account, or otherwise using my.converx.net, you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
2. What Converx does
Converx provides the software that independent businesses, such as salons, use to publish their services and take bookings. Converx is not the business you visit. Each business is solely responsible for its services, prices, staff, opening hours, premises, and how it treats you, and its own terms and policies apply to the service it provides.
3. Who can use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may book only for yourself. A parent or guardian arranges services for a younger person directly with the business.
4. Your account
- You can sign up with Google, with an email address and password, or with a mobile number and password. We verify your email address or mobile number with a one-time code.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date. An account is for one person and may not be shared or transferred.
- Keep your password and codes confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
- You can delete your account at any time in the portal. Deleting it signs you out everywhere and ends your links with businesses; it does not delete the records each business keeps about its own customers, which you can ask that business to delete.
5. Linking with a business
A business may give you a single-use link code in person, or your account may be linked through a booking you make. A link lets you see your history with that business and choose which facts to share with it. Each business owns its own record about you; linking does not transfer that record to you.
You decide, separately for each business, what you share, and you can change or withdraw a share at any time. Withdrawing a share does not erase information the business recorded itself. Either you or the business can end a link at any time. If a link does not belong to you, tell us or the business immediately.
6. Bookings
- Available times, services, and prices are set by the business. A booking is confirmed only when the Services show it as confirmed.
- Converx does not take payment for bookings. You pay the business directly under its own terms.
- Cancellation, lateness, and no-show rules are set by the business. Please cancel through the Services or contact the business as early as you can.
- Some businesses accept bookings only by phone. Their listing shows how to contact them.
- Do not make bookings you do not intend to keep. Repeated no-shows or false bookings may lead us to restrict your account.
7. Reviews
You can review a completed visit once, from your signed-in account. Reviews must be honest, based on your own experience, and follow the review standards in our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not be paid or rewarded for a review.
You can show your display name or appear as "Anonymous customer". Converx keeps the link between the review and your account and never gives your contact details to the business, but a business may still recognize a review from the visit it describes.
You keep ownership of your review and give Converx a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and moderate it on the Services for as long as it is published. A business can report a review; Converx decides whether it breaches our standards and may remove it. Businesses cannot edit or delete reviews.
8. Messages
We send service messages, such as verification codes and booking confirmations, to the email address or mobile number you give us. A business may send you marketing messages only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
9. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, do not misuse verification codes, impersonate anyone, interfere with the Services, or collect other people's data.
10. Our intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, and the Converx name and marks, belong to Converx or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Services as these terms allow. Business listings, photos, and descriptions belong to the businesses that publish them.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Services available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect you where we can.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, Converx makes no promise about the quality, safety, or legality of any business's services, the accuracy of business listings, or the outcome of any treatment. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Converx is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by a business's services, and our total liability to you for any claim about the Services is limited to 50,000 Myanmar kyat or its equivalent. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, risks harm to others, or is required to be closed by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the new effective date and, for material changes, notify you before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after that date, the updated terms apply.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally go to the competent courts of Yangon, Myanmar, unless the law of the country where you live gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
